Wednesday the 9th of March turned out to be a great day weather wise for the school 5th and 6th classes who were being Confirmed. The ceremony took place in St. Patrick’s Church. Chief celebrant was the Bishop of Meath Michael Smith, ably assisted by Fr. Joe Deegan.
The pupils were a credit to their families and school. The following day it was the turn of the photographer to come and get snaps taken for the albums (do albums exist anymore?) and the pupils then paraded through the classes.
A huge word of thanks to class teachers Mr. O’Connor and Mr. Ó Braonáin, the choir, Mr. Flanagan, Ms. Duignan, Ms. Collins, Ms. Gerrard and everyone else involved in preparations for the day.
