On Tuesday a vet came in to 5th class about the hens. Her name was Eileen. We learned that you have to watch the head of the hen so see if it is well or not well. When a hen is sick the wattle and comb are not bright red and it will have sleep in its eye. It will also not make noise like usual. Also we are finishing to give the eggs to fifth class pupils. Then next year we will start giving it to 4th class. We are very happy in how the company is turning out
We have collected a lot of money for the school. The children in 5th class are working hard to make the hens happy. They do all there jobs on little break and cleaning the poo, feeding, giving them water and lots more things. Then they put them in their henhouse in the evening. We hope next year the next class doing it will have as much fun as us!!!
