Over the last few months, the Board of Management has approved the installation of four new interactive whiteboards in the school. The money for the boards comes from an ICT grant which we have received from the Department of Education and Skills.
The boards are touch screen with fingers and pens which makes them more interactive for teachers and pupils and are the most modern available. Interactive whiteboards have replaced blackboards in primary schools in the last ten years or so. Our older ones will be kept as replacements if needed. We hope to replace all boards in the coming years with further grants from the Department of Education.
Many thanks to Mr. Flanagan for all his work coordinating the installation and to Liam Clarke of Network IT who carried out the works.
