GAA Day

To celebrate 125 years of the G.A.A. as an organistation, the classes took part in some additional G.A.A. activities and games on the 125th day of the school year.

Gaelic football, rounders and hurling were among the sports played today.

To celebrate the diversity of our own school community, the children and teachers also took to wearing Gaelic jerseys of clubs and counties from different parts of Ireland. Showing their true colours some might say!

The children were also treated to a talk from 3 of the Meath senior football panel. Joe, Damien and Brian Sheridan answered lots of questions about training and fitness, diets and even football boots posed by the very inquisitive children. The 3 players posed for some photographs and signed autographs to finish off a successful day.
