Slane's Got Talent

During December, pupils from 2nd - 6th classes took part in our own X Factor. From the 14th - 18th, a variety of acts performed in front of a panel of judges consisting of Danni Meade, Louis O'Connor, Cheryl Sheridan and Simon Flanagan.

Singers, comedians, footballers and dancers tried their luck and showed the wealth of talent that exists within our school.

Two acts from each class were chosen to go forward to the final on the day of the holidays, with the exception of 6th class. Four of the acts were chosen to go forward as the judges were unable to choose just 2. This gave a total of 12 acts going forward to the public vote.

Many of the acts were mentored by the judges to help put their best foot forward!

On final day, each of the 12 acts performed in front of the rest of the school. All children and teachers voted for their favourite. You can see just a sample of the final on the movie clip, including the result. Enjoy!
