Swimming has finished for the four remaining classes in school for the spring term. All pupils were extremely efficient and independent when organising themselves before and after the lessons. They were also very well behaved over the course of the six-week block. Many thanks to Aura, Navan for providing the facility and to staff and volunteer parents for all their work with the pupils.
Boys and girls in fourth, fifth and sixth classes are also receiving coaching at lunchtimes from Mr. O’Connor, Mr. Fagan, Mr. Ó Braonáin and Ms. Gerrard, Mr. Ó Braonáin in advance of the Meath Cumann na mBunscol mini sevens competitions and spring leagues. 3rd, 4th and 5th class boys had a challenging game against St. Declan’s of Ashbourne. It was a tough game and the boys were beaten but they put in a huge effort and it is great to see so many boys so eager to play for the school!
It’s all go!
