We are back with our hen project for 2024-2025, the 9th year we have had hens in our school. This year, 5th class pupils will be running the Gugalaí Gug egg company and selling our hen eggs to parents in the school.

We had one bereavement during the summer as Megatron passed away but we are very grateful to David Redhouse who donated three new hens (total now 6) to our flock.

Training in the new pupils started this week and will continue until they are up to speed with the operation. Then letters will go home to families who wish to buy eggs.
