Pupils from St. Patrick’s N.S., accompanied by Ms. McCabe, Mrs. Goulding and Mr. Ó Braonáin, travelled to Claremont stadium in Navan for the annual track and field event earlier this month.   The event will be remembered for all the wrong reasons as the heavens opened for the full day! St. Patrick’s National School boys’ GAA team took part in a very successfully run GAA blitz in Simonstown GAA club last week. The format was a nine a side competition with two groups of five teams. The team performed very well with wins against Bohermeen N.S., Mercy Primary School, Wilkinstown N.S. and St. Stephen’s N.S., Johnstown, which put them through to a final against Boyerstown N.S.
