Pupils from 3rd to 5th class have been taking part in a lunch time gaelic football league for the last number of weeks. The purpose of the league is to have fun and to develop skills. The rules are different so points can also be earned for proper pick ups (boys), tackles and blocks as well as points and goals. Both our boys’ and girls’ gaelic football teams have been training and playing already in the 2023-2024 school year. Games for both teams have taken place in Division 2 of Meath Cumann na mBunscol leagues. Many thanks to Ms. Gerrard, Mr. Dineen, Mrs. Goulding, Mr. O’Connor and Mr. Ó Braonáin who have been coaching the teams.
