Congratulations to KS who was the lucky winner of the Parent’s Association raffle today in school. The jersey is framed and signed by all last year’s squad, including Jonathan Sexton. €815 was raised towards the Parent’s Association activities in the school. It was a busy day in St. Patrick’s National School on St. Brigid’s Day. Many children brought rushes to school to make St. Brigid’s crosses. It is believed that St. Brigid used rushes to make a cross to teach an Irish pagan chieftain about Christianity.
