Some of our pupils had a treat with Ms. Coyle by getting the chance to bake Easter chocolate nests with chocolate eggs inside. This was as a result of all their hard work this term improving their English. Mr. O’Donnell was lucky to be chosen to taste them to make sure they were safe to eat!

RSE Programme

The Relationships and Sexuality Programme is being delivered in all classes this term as part of the Social, Personal and Health Education curriculum subject. In junior infants, children have been learning how to care for a baby. As you can see from the photos below, they are very good at it!

Grandparent’s Day

St. Patrick’s N.S. had our Grandparent’s Day as part of Catholic Schools’ Week. It was a great day. Grandparents came from lots of different counties to our school. They had lovely tea, coffee and baked goods in the hall thanks to the Parent’s Association and then visited all the classrooms. Grandparents had a great time seeing their grandchildren and grandchildren were very proud to see their grandparents in the school also. also got a tour of the school hens, polytunnel,…
