Slane National School are taking part in a two year Erasmus project on the theme of outdoor learning and risky play in association with Dublin City University. Pupils in a number of classes are being taught lessons outdoors, as well as being introduced to risk as they play. Our school is partnered with schools in other European countries, including in Belgium and Slovenia. It is a great opportunity to collaborate with teacher education institutes and other schools. Two of our teachers involved in the project, Ms. Murphy and Ms. Collins are pictured jetting off to Slovenia!
