We have a busy few weeks ahead on the construction front in the school. In the last few years more teaching and learning has been happening outdoors on school grounds in St. Patrick’s N.S.
As a result, an outdoor classroom and a polytunnel are being built at the rear of the school. The classroom will become a focal point for outdoor lessons, where pupils can use the benches sponsored by the Parents’ Association last year.
The polytunnel will provide a space for planting and growing vegetables, flowers and trees for full classes, as well as being a space for hen equipment.
Many thanks to the St. Patrick’s N.S. Parents’ Association, who are funding the initiatives.
