2025-2026 School Summer Works & School Reopening

It has been a busy summer in St. Patrick's National School as two building projects continue in advance of school reopening.

The bigger of the projects has been the upgrading of our school building to a B energy rating. This has included additional roof insulation, an EV charger in the school car park, new windows and doors, new roof lights, new heating system, new heat exchange units, new energy efficient lighting throughout the school and a new fuse board, among other things.

As communicated last week, school will reopen on Monday the 1st of September. You can find the letter sent home to all families with all the details here

Below you can see some of the developments that have taken place over the summer.

Old windows removed from the rear of the school
New triple glazed windows and radiators at the front part of the school on the inside
