Mrs. Kelly and Mrs. Ennis' s first class is located along the back of our school. One of the reasons for this is that first class engages in outdoor play a number of days a week and the room is close to the school's outdoor space. Students have outdoor clothing and wellies for this purpose.

The subjects that first class engage in are:

• Primary Language Curriculum (English agus Gaeilge)
• Mathematics
• Social, Environmental and Scientific Education (SESE) (history, geography and science)
• The Arts (visual arts, drama and music)
• Social, Personal and Health Education (SPHE)
• Physical Education (PE)
• Patron's Programme

The first class school day is from 9.20am until 3.00pm.
