6th class had their graduation ceremony in school earlier this week.

It was great to have parents and extended family members present to mark the end of the pupils' time in our school.
Pupils read readings, and prayers of the faithful. We were also indebted to rachel Carolan, who read a parent reflection piece also.
Mr. O'Donnell spoke to the pupils about how proud we are in the school of them, how much they had grown up and matured, while also still having great fun. He also thanked all the parents and staff for their support of the children up until this stage. He finished with some advice for them for the next stage in their lives.
Things were all going so well until the pupils' class teacher, Mr. O'Connor, played a Powerpoint slideshow filled with memories, activities, classes and antics throughout the years. It got tears flowing and many laughs.
The ceremony ended with the presentation of the pupils' yearbooks, which they had created themselves, and kindly edited by Bridget Kerrigan.
We wish them all well as they begin second level in September.
