Third classes hosted our April assembly this week. There was lots to report!

In the monthly news section:

1. Classes are taking part in walking and running activities before the Slane Castle 5K run in May.

2. Boys' and girls' teams took part in the 5 A Side soccer tournament in Navan recently.

3. Also, second class are getting ready for first communion next month.

4. Senior classes are taking part in a Navan Area gaelic football league at the moment

5. School tours will be happening for every class in May and June. Thanks to Sharon for organising the tours

Pupils in the wellbeing committee also spoke about our new Bí Cinéalta anti-bullying policy, and had some news about what is going on in 3rd classes at the minute (a lot!)

The green team announced that we have achieved our green flag and will receive it at a ceremony in May.

Ms. Gerrard also told assembly that school attendance has been very good this term and pupils will receive rewards for very high attendance.

Birthdays for the month of April were announced, as well as Gaeilgeoirí na Míosa and star classes (senior infants, second class and Ms. Kerr's 4th class)
