Slane Community Centre officially opens on Sunday the 4th of October from 2.30pm to 4.30pm.

The project has been a long time in the making and now Slane will have a wonderful community space for a wide range of uses for many years to come.

The centre will be officially opened by the Minister for Foreign Affairs, Helen McEntee, and local councillor Wayne Harding.

Built next to our school, the new centre will offer the chance for physical education lessons and other curricular uses during school days.

We have had a great relationship with the Community Centre committee throughout the construction of the building and look forward to seeing a ten year plan realised on Sunday and beyond.
