Pupils in our second classes made their first communion recently in St. Patrick's Church, Slane.

The event was the culmination of preparation in both classes throughout the year.

The celebrant on the day was Fr. Richard Matthews. Many thanks also all parents for the preparation in advance, to class teachers Mr. Fagan and Mr. Dineen, Mrs. Carey who led the choir, parish volunteers and other school staff who helped in the preparation and to the Parents' Association for providing tea and coffee afterwards in the school hall.
