St. Patrick's National School girls and boys participated in the Mini Sevens competition in Kentstown this week. Both teams had games against Kentstown, Duleek, Yellow Furze and St. Oliver's National School, Navan.

Both teams played very weel as team and squad units and the girls progressed to the final of this group round against Kentstown, where they were beaten by the narrowest of margins, a single point.

Congratulations to both teams, teachers, Ms. Gerrard, Mr. Dineen, Mr. Ó Braonáin and Mr. O'Connor for all their work, to the other teams and to Kenstown NS for hosting the event.
