Mrs. Carey's 3rd class hosted our January assembly and it was a packed agenda.

Pupils welcomed everyone to the event and there were also welcomes for Ms. Gordon, our new junior infant teacher and and Ms. Yore, who is on a student placement. Birthdays for the month of January were announced, as well as Gaeilgeoirí na Míosa.

The 3rd class presenters then announced some of the things that are happening in our school at the minute in each class. You can see a snippet below

Our Wellbeing team had some interesting results for the school on their Bí Cineálta survey of the pupils. They also explained their next steps on areas pupils are not sure about, like the meaning of Bí Cineálta and the steps to sort out problems with others. You can see some of their presentation below

Our Green Team have also been busy. They have been focussing on the theme of energy and presented the poster competition results to the school. There were ten winners in total, who all received a prize. All entries were shown to the school on a slideshow. The standard was very high.

Finally, our 3rd class hosts, presented some samples of their work that they have been undertaking recently.
