Ms. Murphy and Ms. Gordon's junior infants hosted our March assembly this week with some help from 5th class pupils and SNAs, Grace and Sinéad.
Pupils welcomed everyone to the event and we sang Amhrán na bhFiann.
Birthdays for the month of March were announced and we sang Lá Breithe Sona Duit to them all. Léadh amach freisin Gaeilgeoiri na míosa.

There was also a roundup of news from every class in the school.
Then we began our projects on countries that pupils come from.
Today we learned about Latvia from three of our pupils, including food, physical features and traditional Latvian dance.
The pupils gave a great presentation.
Many thanks to our SNA, Tara, who co-ordinated the presentations and to our other SNAs, Niamh, Rachel, Grace, Liane and Sinéad, who helped create international language signs for each classroom.

Our Wellbeing team talked to the school about their Bí Cinéalta survey and their new initiative for a quiet space on yard for children who do not want to play soccer or
basketball. Thanks to Mrs. Carey for co-ordinating the group. They have worked very hard this year.

Finally, our junior infant hosts showed us some art work and sang a song for us all.

A huge word of thanks to junior infants and their teachers and SNAs on a great assembly.
