Meta Community Grant

St. Patrick's National School has been awarded a Meta community grant, worth over €4,000, at a recent ceremony in Meta, Clonee, Co. Meath.

The grant will go towards increasing the stock of Lego Spike Essential kits, which are used by pupils to develop their Science, Technology, Engineering and Maths (STEM) skills in a playful way. This is the second year in a row that we have received a grant from Meta. Last year, Lego kits were also purchased for senior and junior classes.

Many thanks to Séan Flanagan, who applied for the grant, which required a lot of time and effort, and to Lorna Gerrard, who represented the school at the award ceremony.
