Navan Area League 2026 & Meath V Louth Primary Schools Match

Our girls' and boys' teams are participating in a Navan Area League over the next few weeks.

The league is for pupils in 5th class and younger. There are some modified rules, including one solo and one bounce and a minimum of five substitutions at half time in matches to maximise participation.

The other teams taking part are Bohermeen N.S., St. Stephen's N.S., Johnstown, Wilkinstown N.S., St. Joseph's, Mercy, Navan, Scoil Naomh Eoin, Navan and Ard Scoil Rí, Navan.

Both teams had their first games against Wilkinstown N.S. last week with a win for the boys and a close defeat for the girls.

The teams will play in a blitz day at the end of May to round off the league.

Also, one of our 6th class pupils, CMcG, participated in a Meath V Louth Primary School Cumann na mBunscol blitz this week. Her team progressed to the final of the tournament and a great day was had by all.

As fortune would have it, CMcG was on a team with AP, a daughter of one of our SNAs!
