New Green Flag Award for St. Patrick's National School!

Mrs. Connor, Ms. Kells and two of our pupils travelled to Dundalk this week to collect our most recently awarded green flag for global citizenship travel.

The green team and pupils more broadly had carried out a number of studies this year on air pollution, vehicle idling and sustainable travel around our school to highlight this area.

We have had a big increase in the number of children walking, cycling and scooting to school as a result. Next year we are getting new bicycle and scooter racks and a shelter to store them because of the demand for parking spaces. Congratulations to all involved.
