Our school has had some works carried out at the front of the school to improve road safety for the school community coming to, and going from, our school. Railings have been painted bright colours, the timing on the lights has been altered and some parking spaces have been removed and pencil bollards inserted to improve visibility for pedestrians crossing the N2 road.
We are very grateful to the Slane PA for all their work in highlighting this issue and to Audrey Norris, Meath County Council Road Safety Officer, other MCC staff for assessing and carrying out the works and to Councillor Wayne Harding for liaising with Meath County Council on the issue.
