Sunshine in Slane

3rd Class made the most of the beautiful weather last week by escaping the classroom as much as possible! We ate lunch outside and read, basking in the sunshine! We also took the curriculum outdoors playing the recorder and a capacity race in Maths where some sponges were put through their paces! We also took the chance to explore shadows in Science and create monoprints in Art using wooden blocks and foam shapes. Hopefully the sun will return before the end of term!
