We were so delighted to have 31 boys and girls back with us to begin First Class. We had missed you all! We did lots of motor skills and revision to get us back into the swing of school life. We began to use our WOW wall where we pick our favourite bits of work ourselves and tell everyone why we are proud of it. We also met our class teddy, Ruairí, who was masked up for the occasion! 5k Run!

We were running laps of the Junior Yard in October to try and reach our target of 5km. We needed to run 30 laps but we managed almost 40! Well done everyone!

Literacy Learning

We have been learning about lots of new things in English. We have learned about capital letters, full stops, nouns and proper nouns. We also began to learn about alphabetical order and put all our names into alphabetical order. We were reading and writing reports this past few months and finally wrote one of our very own, about owls. We had to read, plan and edit before we could finally publish them.
